Who We Are
Harmony PCA is a Church committed to an ancient faith.
What is that faith? It's the faith of the Bible, the faith of the Apostle Paul, the faith
of Luther and Calvin, the faith of a growing number of people who have tried the
“rest” and are coming home. Our Ancient Faith is faith in Jesus Christ, who lived
the life we could never live and who died and rose again to give new life to all who
recognize their need for Him. That is the core of our faith which is clearly
articulated in the inerrant, inspired, infallible Word of God.
Harmony PCA is a Church in process.
One of the battle cries of the Reformation, Semper Reformanda (always
reforming), called attention to the fact that
while citizens of a heavenly kingdom, justified
by grace alone, through faith alone,
because of Christ alone, we are still far from
our heavenly home and constantly in need
of God’s grace. With this in mind we at
Harmony desire to grow in grace and glorify
God through reverent services of worship,
intentional acts of mercy, Biblical discipleship,
and fellowship for the whole family.
Harmony PCA is a Church looking to the Future.
We want to be a growing community of changed lives through preaching, teaching,
and sharing the reality and power of the risen Lord Jesus Christ according to the
Scriptures. We want to abound in the grace and knowledge of God and overflow
with His compassion for others as we experience and extend the life of our Lord
into our ever expanding community of Bloomingdale, the growing city of
Kingsport TN, the Tri-Cities region, neighboring Weber City and Gate City VA,
while becoming a light to our nation, and the world.
